Michael Reilly An album of exciting energy and movement, with many powerfully constructed compositions that skip along at great speed. There's an aural theme underpinning this strong collection, yet there's also a lot of individual character and purpose to each track. Very solid stuff. Favorite track: Красные Звёзды, Красные Гимны.

hector Sometimes when you discover a "new" artist, it's intereseting to buy the whole discography just to follow their developement. And despite band leader and composer Kolokutin being incredibly busy over the last years, City Of The Lost have developed a lot both musically and production wise. This lastest album is definitly their best, although I'd also recommend the EP "In The Depth Of Mire" from 2016. Is it ambient, post-metal, post-prog, post-rock? It's everything, and it's good. Favorite track: For What Are We Fighting For?.

David McLane supposedly, the last of the saga in a journey through a post-apocalyptic world. I have loved every step. COTL is an incredible band. i have told every one who would listen about them. this album is just as groovy, just as awesome as the rest! so so good Favorite track: The Reason Why I'm Here.

Official Website:

"With Beings of Light, City of the Lost have created their largest and most profound record yet, while further proving you don’t need lyrics to send a positive message in music. It is a bright and motivating album, and if you are a fan of any of the previously mentioned bands, do yourself a service and give this album a spin. After all, with everything that is going on in the world today, we could all use a little more light. 8.5/10" itdjents.com

"A beautiful album from the beginning to the end, Beings of Light is the pure alignment of a consecrated and excellent technique, masterly combined with the essence of a poetic and marvelous creativity. With wonderful harmonies all the way through, accompanying the listener in a fabulous journey throughout a fantastic, dense and splendidly colorful universe of sensorial joy, rapture and transcendental completeness, this record is a formidable work of art, destined to be considered a reference in the genre." merchantsofair.com
